Privacy policy
Security TV Wall is made by Spaikz LLC. Last updated October 28, 2026.
The short version. Your video goes straight from your cameras to your screen and is never sent to us. There are no accounts. Your camera list stays on your devices and in your own iCloud. The app can count, anonymously, which screens are used, and you can turn that off. No ads, no trackers, nothing sold or shared.
Your cameras and video
- The app connects directly to the cameras and recorders you add, on your network. Live video, replay and the recap are fetched from them and shown on your device. None of it passes through Spaikz or any other service.
- For each camera the app saves its name, address, port, user name and a few settings on your device. Passwords are kept in the device's Keychain.
- Hikvision recorders can tell the app about motion events (the time, camera and whether a person or vehicle was seen) for the recap. These are read from your recorder when you open the recap and are not stored by us.
iCloud sync
To show the same cameras on your Apple TV, iPhone and iPad, the camera list (names, addresses, ports, user names, order and settings) is saved in your own iCloud storage using Apple's key-value storage. Passwords are never in that list: they sync through iCloud Keychain, which Apple encrypts end to end, if you have it turned on. We can't read your iCloud. See Apple's privacy policy.
Purchases
- Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple takes the payment; we never see your card details.
- We use RevenueCat, Inc. to know whether Pro is active. RevenueCat receives a random app user ID, your purchase history from Apple, and basic device information such as the app version and country. There are no accounts and we don't receive your name or email. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Anonymous usage counts
To see which parts of the app are used and to fix what isn't working, the app counts how it is used and sends the counts to our own Google Cloud Firestore database. It isn't Google Analytics or any analytics company, and nothing is used for advertising or shared.
What's sent: which screens are opened and for how long (wall, full screen, recap, adding a camera, the Pro screen), how many cameras were added and whether from a recorder or one by one, which Pro plan was tried and whether a purchase went through, and the short text of any error the app recovered from, with web addresses removed. With them go a random number the app makes when it is first opened (it isn't linked to your device, your Apple ID or anything else), the platform and app version, the OS version, whether it is a TV, phone or tablet, the language and time zone, and whether you have Pro.
What's never sent: video or pictures, camera names, addresses, user names or passwords, anything you type, your name, email or Apple ID, your location, contacts, advertising ID or device model. We don't keep IP addresses with the counts.
We add the counts up by day. The raw counts are deleted after 60 days; only the daily totals are kept.
You can turn it off in the app: on Apple TV open the Layout menu on the wall, on iPhone and iPad open the More menu, and switch off "Share anonymous usage". The app then deletes its random number and anything not yet sent.
What we don't do
- No ads, no advertising trackers and no analytics company.
- We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
- We don't receive your video, so we can't use it for anything.
Cameras and other people
Cameras can record people. Use Security TV Wall only with cameras you own or have permission to view, and follow the laws where you live about recording and about telling people they are being recorded.
Deleting your data
There are no accounts. Removing a camera in the app deletes it and its password from your devices and iCloud. Deleting the app deletes what it saved on that device. Purchase records may be kept by Apple and RevenueCat as needed for tax and accounting; to have yours removed from RevenueCat, or to ask what we hold about you, email support@spaikz.com. We'll answer within 30 days.
Children
Security TV Wall is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app.
